Ultrasound Prep

Abdominal:  Fasting 4 hours prior to study, you may have water during those 4 hours.

Breast:  If patient has had a recent mammogram a copy of the report (if possible).

Kidney:  No Prep

Pelvic: 

·         Women must drink 32 oz of water one hour prior to appointment, no voiding

·         Men must drink 16 oz of water one hour prior to appointment, no voiding

Thyroid:  No Prep
